Wineries along the Bay of Fundy Shore
Located between Yarmouth and Greenwood Nova Scotia there are three wineries along the Bay of Fundy Shore. The climate is slightly cooler here then in the Eastern Annapolis Valley region. Due to the cooler temperature these wineries concentrate on more hardy varieties and some specialty fruit wines. Beavercreek Winery also hosts several weddings and reunions each year at the property thanks to their adjacent Bistro. Bear River Vineyards and Casa Nova Beverages are closer to Digby where you can easily visit Nova Scotia with the Ferry from Saint John, New Brunswick. This region is also known as the Acadian Shoreline in Nova Scotia which holds some of the earliest culture and history of the Province dating back to 1600.

It is said that the oldest grapevines in the province were first planted at Bear River Vineyards back in the 1600s by French Settlers.

Here at Beavercreek Winery, you can find a over 20 varieties of fruit wines made with peaches, raspberries, plums, apples and pears, all grown in the fertile soils of the Annapolis Valley.
